Ryan graduated from Loyola University Chicago with a BA in Political Science and a minor in International Studies. She currently works at the technology nonprofit Powered by Action as the Customer Success Lead. Her work is focused on helping nonprofits and schools increase community engagement by leveraging technology.

She is committed to learning about the social implications of technology in different domains, as well as issues affecting upward mobility. As part of her commitment to her local community, she recently created a soft skills workshop program for high school students at the Best Buy Teen Tech Center for the Little Black Pearl nonprofit organization. She is a native of Fort Worth, Texas and has a mild obsession with Issa Rae.
