Chi Hack Night is now a membership-based non-profit! We will continue to bring free weekly civic hacking fun for everyone, but now you can get directly involved with helping our community grow and flourish.

Why become a member? You'll be able to:

  • Run for office or be appointed to our Board of Directors
  • Vote for the Board of Directors and for changes in our bylaws
  • Get the warm feelings of supporting the civic technology movement in Chicago
  • Connect more deeply with the Chi Hack Night Community
  • Put your name in the history of Chi Hack Night

Requirements

  1. Abide by our Code of Conduct

  2. Fulfill the requirements of membership (one of the following):

    Option A
    Attend 6 Chi Hack Nights
    per year
    +
    $50 annual membership dues
    Option B
    Attend 6 Chi Hack Nights
    per year
    +
    Volunteer for 4+ hours
    Option C
    Attend 12 Chi Hack Nights
    per year


  3. Fill out our membership application:
