#62 Data Potluck #9: Data Science for Social Good



Joint meeting with DataPotluck #9 - Data Science Fellowship, and New City and Foundations Projects.

The University of Chicago is doing a Data Science for Social Good fellowship this summer. They’ve brought 36 aspiring data scientist to Chicago to work on data science projects with city government, federal agencies, and nonprofits from throughout the country.

The fellowship is funded by Google chairman Eric Schmidt and is funded by former chief data scientist for the Obama 2012 campaign Rayid Ghani.
