#71 Data Science for Social Good

Tom Plagge and Juan-Pablo Velez will give a brief retrospective of the Data Science for Social Good summer fellowship program at UChicago where students with CS and statistics backgrounds work on real-world projects with governments and nonprofits.

The fellowship wrapped up last Friday, and Tom and Juan will share results from projects involving the CTA, Chicago Streets and Sanitation, the Cook County Land Bank, and Northshore Hospital.
