#566 Online: Chicago New Arrivals Dashboard

In September 2023, Chicago City Council’s Committee on Immigrant and Refugee Rights launched a dashboard to provide weekly updates on the number of migrants in the city, new arrivals, shelter locations, and other data: WelcometoChicago.org.

Pooja Ravindran, Chief of Staff of the Committee, will discuss the dashboard and the use of data to provide the public with transparent, up-to-date information while the City, non-profits, and community groups coordinate in response to the ongoing humanitarian crisis.
