#612 Online: Launching the Alliance of Civic Technologists
The Alliance of Civic Technologists is a decentralized network of civic technology volunteer organizations, providing opportunities to connect, learn, and grow. We are launching our membership drive to reestablish America’s civic technology network filling the gap left by the sunsetting of Code for America’s Brigade program.
ACT Executive Director Christopher Whitaker will talk about the history of civic technology volunteer groups, why it’s valuable to have these groups connected together, and how ACT plans to support civic tech volunteer groups across the country by convening volunteers, providing opportunities to learn, and by amplifying their stories.
ASL This event will not have an American Sign Language interpreter.
