MuckRock has worked with journalists, researchers, and ordinary people around the country to request public records from all 50 states and the federal government. During this presentation, they’ll share the FOIA and public records basics, including ways to browse through millions of records other people have gotten, and how to go from an idea to a solid request that gets results.
