Prior to working in data, Nick was an attorney and worked in a variety of public interest settings, including environmental code enforcement, health and human services, and transportation safety.

Since his appointment earlier this year, Nick has managed many data and tech projects in coordination with Chicago’s COVID-19 response. He will talk about how the city uses data and technology to flatten the curve of COVID infections, with a focus on racial justice.
